What is an advent calendar event?Generally speaking, an advent calendar consists of 24 little windows that you can open daily while waiting for the 24th of December to arrive. Each of them hides a little surprise—your surprise this time is a hualian kissing prompt you can create for!It's an end of the year event and we know everyone is a bit tired or busy, so Santa accepts „half-baked cookies” like drafts, sketches, wips etc. They are as welcome as full pieces as long as they depict hualian kissing. As always, all works are appreciated, including but not limited to fanart, fanfiction, fanedits, cosplay, photoshoots of dolls or other DIY creations.You don't need to do all days, all prompts unless you love a good challenge.You can submit old or new kisses if they match the prompt and meets the rules.

How to take part in the event?Mimicking a real advent calendar, our event offers 24 little kissing prompts corresponding to a number between 1 and 24. However, how you're going to open them is completely up to you—there are two ways to choose from:

“Mischievous Kiddo” mode:

You like to plan ahead, huh? Don't worry, we got you! By making all prompts available beforehand, you can live out your naughty kid fantasy of devouring all the goods before the 24th of December and cherry-pick your favourites to create for!Simply take your time to create and post on the day that matches your kissing prompt.For example: You read everything on the 1st of December and decided to draw for Day 3 „Morning Kiss”, you'll post it on the 3rd of December. Your bjds or minidolls would look cute enacting a „Forehead Kiss” which is on Day 16, you’ll have to wait for the 16th of December to post your photo of it.

“Santa’s Little Challenger“ mode:

For a fun challenge, you can try and create for the prompt of the day. Don't look them up previously, simply just open them as the days go, one by one. If it inspires you, do something with it and don't forget to post it.

Rules & Guidelines

This is our last “hualian-only” event for the year but the rules are the same. We kindly ask you not to include any ships that break HuaLian, involve them in past relationships, unrequited love or polyamory. You don't want to wind up on Santa’s naughty list, do you?Side characters and sideships are welcome as long as the focus remains on hualian.All submissions must be your own, please refrain from plagiarising or reposting others' works and don't use AI.We accept SFW and NSFW works as well. However, we kindly ask you to use warnings, tags, and filters—especially when it comes to potentially triggering content. All characters participating in NSFW situations must be of age and creations that feature animal or child forms are needed to be strictly non-sexual (don't make this weird, Santa is watching).When posting your work, make sure you use the appropriate hashtags regarding 18+ content.Remember, you don't have to submit full pieces this time, you can write AUs, and even old works are allowed, but the hualian kiss has to be recognizable.
